Kim’s School of Dance from Ashland is a dance school located in Ashland, Virginia. The school was founded by Kim Taylor, a professional ballroom dancer and teacher, in 2020. Classes and Instructors

Kim’s School of Dance offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective dance styles. Our classes include:

• Ballet: Our ballet classes are designed to help students develop their technique and artistry, while also having fun. Our instructors are experienced in teaching ballet to both beginners and advanced students.

• Jazz: Our jazz classes focus on developing a student’s technique and musicality. Our instructors are experienced in teaching jazz to both beginners and advanced students.

• Contemporary: Our contemporary classes focus on developing a student’s technique and artistry, while also exploring the creative possibilities of modern dance. Our instructors are experienced in teaching contemporary to both beginners and advanced students.

• Ballroom: Our ballroom classes are designed to help students learn the fundamentals of ballroom dancing, while also developing their technique and artistry. Our instructors are experienced in teaching ballroom to both beginners and advanced students.

• Hip-Hop: Our hip-hop classes focus on developing a student’s technique and artistry, while also exploring the creative possibilities of hip-hop dance. Our instructors are experienced in teaching hip-hop to both beginners and advanced students.

Private Lessons

Kim’s School of Dance also offers private lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our instructors are experienced in teaching a variety of dance styles, and can help you develop your technique and artistry in a one-on-one setting.

Group Classes

Kim’s School of Dance also offers group classes for all ages and skill levels. Our group classes are designed to help students develop their technique and artistry, while also having fun and making new friends.
