The Kansas Ballet Academy (KBA) is a premier dance school located in Topeka, Kansas. Founded in 1981, KBA has been providing quality instruction in ballet and other forms of dance to students of all ages for over 37 years. The school is dedicated to the development of each student’s individual potential, and to the advancement of the art of dance.

Mission Statement

The mission of Kansas Ballet Academy is to provide comprehensive and comprehensive instruction in the art of dance, while helping students of all ages and abilities reach their artistic and personal goals. We strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters growth and creativity in our students.

What We Offer

At Kansas Ballet Academy, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes include:

• Ballet – We offer ballet classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our classes are designed to help students develop their technique, artistry, and performance skills.

• Jazz – Our jazz classes provide a fun and energetic atmosphere, while helping students develop their style and technique.

• Tap – Our tap classes are designed to help students develop rhythm, coordination, and musicality.

• Hip Hop – Our hip hop classes are designed to help students develop their style and technique.

• Contemporary – Our contemporary classes provide an opportunity to explore movement and expression through modern dance.

• Creative Movement – Our creative movement classes provide a fun and creative way to explore movement and expression.

• Musical Theater – Our musical theater classes provide an opportunity to explore acting, singing, and dancing.

• Pre-Professional Program – Our pre-professional program is designed to help students develop their technique and performance skills, while preparing them for a career in dance.

Hours of Operation

Kansas Ballet Academy is open Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 9:00pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 1:00pm. We are closed on Sundays.
