Kaatsbaan International Dance is a premier dance school located in Tivoli, New York. Founded in 1988, Kaatsbaan offers a variety of classes, workshops, and performances for all ages and levels of experience. Our mission is to foster the growth of the dance community in the United States and beyond, while providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students and faculty.

At Kaatsbaan, we believe that dance is an art form that can be enjoyed by everyone. We strive to create a learning environment that is accessible to all, regardless of age, experience, or financial ability. Our classes and workshops are designed to help our students develop their technique and explore the creative process. We also provide performance opportunities for our students to showcase their work.

Classes and Workshops

Kaatsbaan offers a wide range of classes and workshops for all levels of experience. Our classes include ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and folk dance. We also offer workshops that focus on specific topics such as improvisation, choreography, and performance. Our classes and workshops are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring our students.

Performances

Kaatsbaan provides a platform for our students to showcase their work through performances. We host a variety of performances throughout the year, including our annual Spring and Fall Dance Festival. Our festivals feature performances from our students, faculty, and guest artists. We also host special performances throughout the year, such as our annual Holiday Showcase.

Facilities

Kaatsbaan is located on 33 Kaatsbaan Rd in Tivoli, New York. Our facility includes three studios, a costume shop, and a café. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, barres, and mirrors, and our costume shop is stocked with a variety of costumes and accessories. Our café offers a variety of snacks and beverages for our students and faculty.
