History

Joy of Dance Ballet School was founded in 1978 by ballet teacher and choreographer, Maria Rovira. Maria had a passion for ballet and wanted to share her love of the art form with others. She opened Joy of Dance Ballet School to provide quality ballet instruction to students of all ages and levels.

Since its inception, Joy of Dance Ballet School has grown to become a premier ballet school in the United States. The school has produced many talented dancers who have gone on to be successful in the professional ballet world.

Programs

Joy of Dance Ballet School offers a variety of classes for students of all ages and levels. The school offers a range of ballet classes including: pre-ballet, beginning ballet, intermediate ballet, advanced ballet, pointe, and variations. The school also offers classes in other forms of dance such as jazz, tap, modern, and hip-hop.

In addition to classes, Joy of Dance Ballet School offers private lessons and workshops. The school also offers summer intensives for students who are interested in furthering their ballet training.

Faculty

Joy of Dance Ballet School is staffed by a team of highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors. The school’s faculty is led by Artistic Director, Maria Rovira. Maria is a highly respected teacher and choreographer with over 40 years of experience in the ballet world.

Schedule & Contacts

Joy of Dance Ballet School is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to 2pm. The school is closed on Sundays.
