Introduction to Jo’s School of Dance

Jo’s School of Dance is a dance school located in Washington, Missouri. Founded in 2009, Jo’s School of Dance has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages for over 10 years. The school offers classes in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and more. Jo’s School of Dance is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential as dancers, while having fun in the process.

At Jo’s School of Dance, we strive to create a fun and welcoming environment for our students. Our instructors are highly experienced and are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. We offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on specific skills.

In addition to our regular classes, Jo’s School of Dance also offers special workshops and events throughout the year. These workshops and events are designed to give our students the opportunity to learn from professional dancers and choreographers, as well as to experience different styles of dance.

Classes Offered at Jo’s School of Dance

At Jo’s School of Dance, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels. Our classes include:

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to teach students the fundamentals of ballet technique, including posture, alignment, and proper execution of steps. We offer both beginner and advanced classes, as well as private lessons for those who want to focus on specific skills.

Contemporary

Our contemporary classes teach students how to use their bodies to express emotion through movement. We provide a safe and encouraging environment for our students to explore their creativity and express themselves through dance.

Jazz

Our jazz classes focus on developing technique, rhythm, and style. We teach our students the fundamentals of jazz dance, as well as how to use their bodies to create unique and dynamic movements.

Tap

Our tap classes emphasize the importance of rhythm and timing. We teach our students the basics of tap dance, as well as more advanced steps and combinations.

Hip-Hop

Our hip-hop classes teach students the fundamentals of hip-hop dance, including basic steps, grooves, and body isolations. We also focus on incorporating music and culture into our classes, so that our students can learn more about the history and culture of hip-hop dance.

Schedule and Contact Information

Jo’s School of Dance is open Monday through Friday from 4-10 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
