Joan Kathey Dance Center: A Place to Learn and Shine

The Joan Kathey Dance Center (JKDC) is a premier dance school located in Leesville, Louisiana. Founded in 2009, JKDC has been providing quality dance instruction for over 10 years. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun learning environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

At JKDC, we provide a variety of classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary. We also offer a full range of fitness classes such as Zumba, Pilates, and Yoga. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors who are passionate about dance and helping our students reach their goals.

In addition to our classes, we also offer a full-service dance company. Our company offers professional-level performances in a variety of styles, from Ballet to Hip-Hop. Our company members have performed at a variety of venues, from local schools to international stages.

At JKDC, we also offer a full-service gymnastics center. Our facility is equipped with a variety of equipment, from trampolines to balance beams, to help our students reach their goals. Our instructors are experienced and knowledgeable, and they are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals.

At JKDC, we believe that dance is an art form that should be accessible to everyone. We strive to make our classes and services affordable and accessible to all. We also offer scholarships and discounts to those in need.

At JKDC, we believe in creating a safe and positive learning environment. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for bullying or any other form of harassment. We also have a strict dress code to ensure that all of our students are dressed appropriately for class.

At JKDC, we believe in creating a community of dancers. We host a variety of events throughout the year, from recitals to competitions, to bring our dancers together. We also host workshops and master classes from renowned dancers to help our students learn and grow.

The Joan Kathey Dance Center is located at 204 W North St, Leesville, LA 71446. Our hours are Monday-Thursday 2-9:30 PM, Friday 2-8 PM, and Saturday and Sunday closed.
