Jackson School of the Arts is a dance school located in Jackson, Michigan, founded in 1986. We offer classes in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary. Our Classes

Ballet

Tap

Our tap classes are designed to help students develop rhythm and coordination. We focus on the basics of tap technique, as well as the artistry of movement.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are designed to help students develop coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility. We focus on the basics of jazz technique, as well as the artistry of movement.

Hip Hop

Our hip hop classes are designed to help students develop rhythm and coordination. We focus on the basics of hip hop technique, as well as the artistry of movement.

Contemporary

Our contemporary classes are designed to help students develop coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility. We focus on the basics of contemporary technique, as well as the artistry of movement.

Private Lessons

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer private lessons for students who are looking for a more personalized experience. Our private lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and can focus on any of the dance styles we offer.
