The Hudson Valley Conservatory (HVC) is a leading dance school, dance company, dance conservatory, music school, theater company, and vocal instructor located in Walden, New York. Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and diverse dance instruction to all ages and levels of dancers.

History

HVC was founded in 2002 by professional dancer and instructor, Elizabeth Gagnon. She had a vision to create a place where dancers of all ages and levels could come to learn and grow. Since then, HVC has become one of the premier dance schools in the Hudson Valley, offering classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and more.

Faculty

At HVC, we are proud to have a faculty of highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Our faculty members have extensive teaching and performing experience in all genres of dance. They are passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Programs

At HVC, we offer a variety of classes and programs for dancers of all ages and levels. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and more. We also offer private lessons, group classes, and special workshops. In addition, we have a performance company that performs throughout the Hudson Valley.

Community

At HVC, we strive to create a supportive and welcoming community for all of our students. We believe in the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for our dancers to learn and grow. We also value collaboration and community building, and strive to create a positive and inspiring atmosphere for our students.

Location

HVC is located in Walden, New York, just a short drive from New York City. Our state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located in downtown Walden, and is easily accessible by car or public transportation.
