High Country Conservatory of Music & Dance

The High Country Conservatory of Music & Dance is a premier dance school located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Founded in 1991, the Conservatory is dedicated to providing the highest quality dance education to its students. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students to learn and grow in the art of dance.

Dance School

The Conservatory offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes range from beginner to advanced levels in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, and musical theater. We also offer private lessons, master classes, and workshops. Our experienced faculty is committed to providing the best possible dance education for our students.

Ballet School

The Conservatory is home to the High Country Ballet School, which provides comprehensive training in classical ballet technique. Our faculty is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping our students reach their highest potential. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to pre-professional. Our curriculum is designed to develop strong technical skills, as well as artistry and musicality.

Ballet Theater

The Conservatory is home to the High Country Ballet Theater, which produces a variety of professional productions throughout the year. Our productions range from classic ballets to modern works, and feature the work of both local and international choreographers. Our performances are designed to entertain and inspire our audiences.

Dance Company

The Conservatory is home to the High Country Dance Company, which is comprised of talented and dedicated dancers from the Conservatory. The company performs a variety of works from classical to contemporary, and has been featured in festivals and performances throughout the United States.

Dance Conservatory

The Conservatory is also home to the High Country Dance Conservatory, which is dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of dance. The Conservatory offers classes and workshops in a variety of dance styles, and hosts a variety of performances and events throughout the year.

Dance Store

The Conservatory is home to the High Country Dance Store, which offers a wide selection of dancewear, shoes, and accessories for all of our students. We carry a variety of brands and styles to meet the needs of our dancers.

Hip Hop Dance Class

The Conservatory also offers a hip hop dance class for those looking to learn this popular dance style. Our experienced faculty will teach you the fundamentals of hip hop and help you develop your own style.

Music School

The Conservatory is home to the High Country Music School, which provides comprehensive training in music theory, composition, and performance. Our faculty is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping our students reach their highest potential.

Performing Arts Group

The Conservatory is also home to the High Country Performing Arts Group, which is dedicated to providing our students with a comprehensive performing arts experience. Our group offers classes in acting, singing, and improvisation, as well as performance opportunities throughout the year.
