Our Mission

Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction and performance opportunities to the community of Hickory and the surrounding area. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment in which our students can learn, grow, and express themselves through the art of dance.

Our Classes

At Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes include:

Ballet

Our ballet classes focus on the fundamentals of ballet technique, including posture, alignment, and coordination. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful dancer.

Jazz

Our jazz classes focus on the basics of jazz technique, including isolations, turns, and leaps. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful jazz dancer.

Tap

Our tap classes focus on the fundamentals of tap technique, including rhythm, coordination, and timing. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful tap dancer.

Hip-hop

Our hip-hop classes focus on the fundamentals of hip-hop technique, including rhythm, coordination, and style. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful hip-hop dancer.

Theater

Our theater classes focus on the fundamentals of theater, including acting, singing, and movement. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful theater performer.

Music

Our music classes focus on the fundamentals of music, including rhythm, pitch, and harmony. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful musician.

Acrobatics

Our acrobatics classes focus on the fundamentals of acrobatics, including flexibility, strength, and balance. Our experienced instructors will help you develop the skills necessary to become a successful acrobat.

Our Instructors

At Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts, our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective fields. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our students.

Schedule & Contact Information

Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts is open Monday through Friday from 3:30-7:30 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
