Havilah Dance Company is a professional dance school and company located in Matthews, North Carolina. We offer a variety of classes and services, including ballroom dance instruction, dance company performances, and dance hall rentals. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of dance instruction and entertainment to our clients, while fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Our History

Havilah Dance Company was founded in 1994 by husband and wife team, John and Mary Havilah. John and Mary are both professional dancers and instructors, and have been teaching ballroom dance for over 20 years. They have trained and performed with some of the most renowned dance companies in the country, including the American Ballet Theatre and the Joffrey Ballet.

Our Instructors

At Havilah Dance Company, we strive to provide the highest quality of instruction to our students. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced professionals, and have been teaching ballroom dance for many years. Our instructors are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students, and to helping them reach their goals.

Our Classes

We offer a variety of classes for all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced. Our classes include ballroom dance instruction, contemporary dance, hip hop, and Latin dance. We also offer a variety of workshops and special events throughout the year.

Our Services

In addition to our classes, we also offer a variety of services to our clients. We offer private lessons, group classes, and dance hall rentals. We also offer performance services for special events and corporate functions.
