Guiding Steps North is a dance school located in Chestertown, New York. We offer a variety of dance classes and programs for all ages and levels of experience. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our students to learn, grow, and develop their skills. Our experienced and certified instructors are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals and become confident and successful dancers.

Our History

Guiding Steps North was founded in 2005 by two experienced dancers, Michael and Lisa Johnson. They wanted to create a dance school that would provide a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow. Since then, the school has grown and now offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and levels of experience.

Our Programs

At Guiding Steps North, we offer a variety of classes and programs for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballroom. We also offer private lessons, group classes, and workshops. Our experienced and certified instructors are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals and become confident and successful dancers.

Our Facilities

Guiding Steps North is located in Chestertown, New York. We have a spacious studio with two large dance floors, a full-size mirror, and a sound system. We also have a variety of props and equipment to help our students learn and practice their skills.

We offer classes and programs Monday through Saturday. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
