Our History
Greater York Dance – Dance It Forward fromYork was founded in 2011 by a group of dedicated dancers, teachers, and parents who sought to bring a new level of excellence to dance instruction in the York area. Our founders recognized that traditional dance education was too often limited to a single style or genre, and they wanted to create an environment where students could explore the full range of dance styles and techniques.
Since its inception, Greater York Dance – Dance It Forward fromYork has grown to become one of the leading dance schools in the region. We offer a wide range of classes, from beginner to advanced, in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary. Our instructors are experienced professionals who are passionate about dance and committed to helping our students reach their highest potential.

Our Programs

We strive to create an environment where our students, teachers, and families can come together to share their love of dance. We are committed to providing our students with a safe and supportive space where they can learn, grow, and explore. We also strive to create opportunities for our students to give back to the community through our Dance It Forward fromYork program, which provides free dance classes to underprivileged children in the York area.
Our Schedule & Contacts
Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
