Gilliam Dance Project is a dance school located in Smyrna, Delaware, USA. It was founded in 2020 by renowned dancer and choreographer, Mark Gilliam. The school focuses on teaching a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary.

Our Mission

At Gilliam Dance Project, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students of all ages and abilities to explore and develop their passion for dance. We strive to create a positive and inspiring atmosphere that encourages creativity, self-expression, and growth. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves through movement and dance.

Our Programs

Gilliam Dance Project offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary. We also offer specialty classes such as musical theater, acrobatics, and breakdancing.

In addition to our classes, we also offer private lessons and workshops. Our private lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and goals, and our workshops are designed to give students the opportunity to learn from different instructors and hone their skills.

Gilliam Dance Project is proud to have a faculty of highly experienced and qualified instructors. Our faculty members are dedicated to providing a positive and encouraging learning environment for our students. Our instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective dance styles and are passionate about teaching and inspiring others.

Our Facilities

Gilliam Dance Project is located in a beautiful studio in Smyrna, Delaware. Our studio is equipped with a sprung floor, full-length mirrors, and a sound system. We also have a changing room and a lounge area for our students to relax and socialize.

Schedule and Contacts

Gilliam Dance Project is open Monday through Friday, with classes running from 6-9 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and from 5:30-8 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. We also offer Saturday classes from 10 am-12 pm.
