I wish there were a million stars. My husband and I tried a class for our anniversary an much time my surprise HE lit up! Cassie our teacher is just wonderful. Everyone is wonderful. A great group of people and students. We’ve made many new friends. I never thought we’d be dancing together. Still learning and Cassie is super patient. I’m out on an injury, non dance related and can’t wait to get back! We love this place and every human in it!

From the very first private lesson, my husband and I were hooked! With no prior ballroom or latin dance experience, we have come to enjoy our dance lessons, the practice parties and all of the wonderful people at the studio. The instructors are all friendly and the students that come are equally kind. If you are looking for something to do, or learn something new, give ballroom dancing at Fred Astaire Dutchess a try! I have been learning dance with this studio, off (off was due to a serious knee injury, not dance related) and on for nearly 11 years. Starting originally with my wife, and later solo. They have brought me along from the very basics up to a fairly serious competitive level. It was also great therapy in the recovery from knee surgery, rebuilding the strength in my right leg. In addition to being great teachers, they're great people.

One cannot list all the good things about Fred Astaire Dutchess. You are family here, regardless of your experience, dancing acumen or taste in music. Elizabeth, John, Max, Zahara and Cassie make dancing fun, while challenging you with every step on the floor. And always with a smile. I cannot imagine not being part of this amazing group – most wonderful people you will encounter!
