Located in Louisville, Kentucky, the Elite Academy of Dance & Performing Arts provides students with the highest quality of instruction and education in the art of dance and performing arts.

History

The Elite Academy of Dance & Performing Arts was founded in 2002 by renowned dancer and choreographer, Roberta G. Smith. She has been teaching and choreographing in the Louisville area for over 25 years. Roberta has been a part of the Louisville dance community since she was a child and has been a major part of the development of the Louisville dance scene.

Mission

The mission of the Elite Academy of Dance & Performing Arts is to provide the highest quality of instruction and education in the art of dance and performing arts. We strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere where students can learn, grow, and express themselves through the art of dance. We are committed to developing the creativity, technique, and performance skills of our students.

Programs

The Elite Academy of Dance & Performing Arts offers a variety of programs for students of all ages and abilities. Our programs include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and musical theater. We also offer classes in acting, improvisation, and voice. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors who are passionate about teaching and dance.

Performances

The Elite Academy of Dance & Performing Arts is also home to a professional dance company. Our dance company performs in a variety of venues, from small local theaters to large scale productions. We strive to create an atmosphere of excellence and professionalism in our performances.

The Elite Academy of Dance & Performing Arts is open Monday through Friday from 3 AM to 8 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 12 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
