Eastern Connecticut Ballet is a ballet school located in East Lyme, Connecticut, United States of America. Founded in 1974, it is one of the oldest and most respected ballet schools in the region. Eastern Connecticut Ballet is dedicated to providing quality instruction in classical ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop, and other forms of dance.

At Eastern Connecticut Ballet, we believe that dance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their age, gender, or background. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students, and we take pride in the fact that we have been able to nurture and develop the talents of so many dancers over the years.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction in a safe and encouraging environment. We strive to develop the technical and artistic skills of our students, while also teaching them the importance of discipline, dedication, and respect. We also believe that dance should be fun and enjoyable, and we strive to create a positive atmosphere in which our students can express themselves and grow.

Our Classes

At Eastern Connecticut Ballet, we offer a variety of classes for all levels of experience. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, and we also offer classes for adults. We also offer private classes and workshops for those who are looking for more personalized instruction.

Our classes are taught by experienced and highly-trained instructors who are passionate about dance and committed to helping our students reach their full potential. Our instructors are dedicated to providing quality instruction and creating an environment that is both challenging and supportive.

Our Performances

In addition to providing quality instruction, Eastern Connecticut Ballet also has a dance company that performs throughout the year. Our performances feature a variety of styles, from classical ballet to contemporary dance. Our performances are designed to entertain and inspire, and we strive to create a unique and memorable experience for our audiences.

Our Facilities

Eastern Connecticut Ballet is located in East Lyme, Connecticut, and is housed in a beautiful facility with three spacious studios. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, full-length mirrors, and sound systems, and are perfect for all types of dance. We also have a comfortable lounge area for our dancers and their families to relax in between classes.

Schedule and Contacts

Eastern Connecticut Ballet is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 8 PM, and on Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
