The Discovery School of Dance from Salem was founded in 2002 by the renowned dancer and choreographer, Yulia Kostyukova. Since then, the school has grown and flourished, becoming one of the most respected and sought-after dance schools in the region.

Classes

At the Discovery School of Dance from Salem, students of all ages and levels of experience can find the perfect class for their needs. The school offers classes in ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and more. Private and group lessons are also available.

Performances

The school’s professional dance company, Discovery Dance, regularly performs at local and regional venues. The company has performed at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Oregon Symphony, and the Portland Opera, among other venues.
