De Frances Academy of Dance is a premier dance school located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Founded in 2009 by professional dancer and choreographer, Dr. Francine De Frances, the Academy has grown to become one of the most respected and sought-after dance schools in the United States.

At De Frances Academy of Dance, we strive to provide our students with the highest quality of dance instruction and performance opportunities. We offer a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Our experienced and passionate instructors are dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential in dance.

Our Programs

Ballet

We offer a comprehensive ballet program for all ages and levels. Our instructors are experienced and passionate about teaching the art of ballet. We offer classes in classical ballet, pointe, variations, and partnering. Our classes are designed to help students develop technique, strength, and artistry.

Jazz

Our jazz program is designed to help students develop their own unique style and expression. We offer classes in jazz technique, improvisation, and choreography. Our classes are designed to help students explore the different styles of jazz and develop their own individual style.

Tap

De Frances Academy of Dance is open Monday through Thursday from 4-9 PM. We are closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
