When the local gym changed owners and our rates went up a bit, we were a little skeptical. The owner told us when we renewed about his plans and we thought it sounded nice and certainly fair to raise our rates. But honestly, what he's done to the gym is awesome! He followed through on his word and has done a lot of work. It's a great gym and very worth the price – which is still extremely reasonable even after the slight increase!

Great gym! They got all the machines you'd find in pretty much any other gym, and they got weights and a punching bag. They have an outdoor place to workout also as well as indoor. Staff are great. Friendly, and will do their best to make sure ur accommodated. No contracts which is nice, and they have a discount for vets. Bathrooms/locker are adequately spacious and clean. Smoothies there are great. Def worth every penny. 10/10

This is one of the nicer facilities I have visited in Central Texas. George (the owner) is a great guy. A day pass is only $5 dollars (as opposed to $15-30 at other commercial gyms). If you're in lampasas, Kempner or the surrounding are, I recommend giving Day 1 fitness a try. I got a year membership for a good price for two people! So far I have truly enjoyed it! I normally go in the morning and not to many people are in there. I really like the outside part of the gym! If you want to pay daily you can. I believe the owner really wants people to not worry about the hassle of a membership and welcomes all. Overall great gym!
