Dancewave is a Dance Company in Brooklyn that operates as a non-profit organization. It offers a rehearsal space, classes in their dance school, as well as space for birthday parties and other events. I am particularly fond of their community outreach and development in the public schools and with youth, and therefore, I feel very good taking classes here. The staff and environment is very friendly and inviting, plus they offer a Masala Bhangra dance class! Amazing!

I have taken multiple adult dance/fitness classes here at Dancewave and I have literally loved all of them! I did Zumba, Pilates and Barre — the instructors were top notch and the studio is comfortable. Very friendly staff and I often have seen little happy ballerinas walking out of the studio, that lends the studio a really sweet and happy vibe. Totally recommend it!

After several years of walking past this space on 4th Ave, we finally decided to enroll our 9 year old daughter in their youth dance company. Dancewave is a special place. The teachers are exceptional, the community is inclusive, and the joy of dance (which is often missing in many dance schools) beams in the faces of all of the students.

Dancewave pivoted very quickly to offering online classes during the shelter in place at an affordable price and it's been an absolute lifesaver. The instructors have taken on the new class format amazingly and with such grace! Thank you Dancewave!!!
