Dance Theatre Northwest is a dance school located in Rathdrum, Idaho. Founded in 2003, Dance Theatre Northwest has been providing high-quality dance instruction and performances to dancers of all ages and levels. We specialize in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballroom dance.

Our Mission

At Dance Theatre Northwest, we believe that dance is a powerful tool for self-expression and creativity. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where dancers can explore their creativity and develop their skills. We strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters self-confidence and promotes a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Our Programs

Dance Theatre Northwest offers a variety of classes and programs for all levels of dancers. We offer classes for pre-schoolers, recreational dancers, and competitive dancers. Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballroom dance.

Our recreational classes are designed to introduce students to the joys of dance and to help them develop their skills. Our competitive program is designed to challenge and prepare dancers for professional and collegiate level dance. We also offer private lessons and workshops for those who wish to take their dance skills to the next level.

Our Faculty

Dance Theatre Northwest is proud to have a faculty of highly experienced and qualified teachers. Our teachers are all certified in their respective styles of dance and have years of experience teaching and performing. Our faculty is passionate about dance and dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.

Our Performances

Dance Theatre Northwest offers a variety of performances throughout the year. We host several annual showcases and recitals that feature our students’ hard work and progress. We also host special events such as our annual Nutcracker Ballet and our Summer Dance Festival.

Dance Theatre Northwest is located in Rathdrum, Idaho, just a short drive from Spokane, Washington. Our studio is conveniently located near several major highways and is easily accessible from the surrounding area.
