What a great experience having my dancers here at Dance Moves! I have been so impressed with their growth and improvement, not just in dance, but in their overall coordination and confidence! The teachers and staff are so kind and loving, and actually get to know and care for each of the kids as an individual. Also, they strike a good cross between the stricter "classic" techniques, but with a more relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are looking for a "dance home" on JI!

We love Dance Moves of Charleston, James Island. My daughter has been taking classes and going to camps here for 10 years. She has learned so much about dance, movement, creativity and friendship. The body positive atmosphere is ideal for my 14 year old dancer. The teachers truly care about their students and want to see them succeed in whatever they are passionate about. I couldn't ask for better mentors and teachers or a better dance environment for my child!

Our family of dancers (currently 13, 8 and 6) absolutely loves the body positive, supportive environment that DanceMoves provides. All of the instructors are exceptional and very encouraging. The staff are wonderful. Also, the Dance Moves Youth Company offers additional camaraderie and chances for growth through performances and master classes. I can't recommend it highly enough!!

We have had so many amazing experiences with Dance Moves of Charleston. Both of my daughters have danced with them for several years and they have learned and grown so much. All of their teachers are so knowledgeable and kind. They really take their time to make sure all their dancers are learning proper technique.
