History

The Dance Conservatory of Maryland was founded in 2006 by Artistic Director, Missy Burch. Missy has been teaching dance for over 25 years and has a passion for teaching and inspiring young dancers. She is a former member of the Dance Conservatory of Maryland faculty and has choreographed for many local and regional dance companies.

Mission

The mission of the Dance Conservatory of Maryland is to provide a safe, nurturing, and creative environment where students can explore their passion for dance. We strive to create an atmosphere of excellence and encourage our students to reach their fullest potential. We are committed to providing quality instruction and performance opportunities to our students.

Programs

The Dance Conservatory of Maryland offers a variety of classes for students of all ages and abilities. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and acrobatics. We also offer private lessons, workshops, and summer intensives.

Faculty

The Dance Conservatory of Maryland is proud to have a faculty of highly qualified and experienced instructors. Our faculty consists of former professional dancers, accomplished choreographers, and experienced teachers. Our instructors are dedicated to providing quality instruction and encouraging our students to reach their fullest potential.

Performances

The Dance Conservatory of Maryland offers performance opportunities for our students. We have an annual recital which provides students with the opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent. We also offer master classes and workshops with guest artists and performances at local and regional events.
