This was our daughter's first year with Cynthia King's studio (she's 7 years old) and we could not be happier. Ms. King is amazing in every way but especially in the way she teaches and talks to the dancers! I feel so lucky that we found CKDS. If you are looking for a serious program with excellent teachers and a warm community, this is your place.

My daughter has been dancing here for 2 years. She loves the teachers and the other dancers. I love the diversity of the staff and students. I also appreciate that the focus is on dance technique rather than dance as a beauty pageant. My younger daughter is starting classes this summer, and so far loves it just as much as her big sister.

My daughter has been a student at CKDS for two years and she thoroughly enjoys it. Not only that, the annual recitals are always amazing! This year was particularly special because this was the first indoor performance since 2019, and I must say, it did not disappoint! We are looking forward to next year and years to come with CKDS.

CKDS – my daughter has attended for over 7 years and been involved with the company and also not (e.g. seasonal classes). Whatever version of participation she has had it has been met with with support, acceptance, and amazing teachers. Also as a dance studio, it is healthy in terms of body image/expectations.
