About Creative Movement Company

Creative Movement Company (CMC) is a dance school located in Rockford, Illinois. Founded in 2014, CMC has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. We offer a variety of classes such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and contemporary. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students to grow, learn, and express themselves through the art of dance.

Our Instructors

At CMC, our instructors are highly trained and experienced in all forms of dance. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and strive to create an atmosphere of learning and creativity in the classroom. We believe that each student should be given the opportunity to explore their own individual style and develop their own unique talents.

Classes

CMC offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. From beginner classes to advanced classes, we have something for everyone. We offer classes for children, teens, and adults. Our classes are designed to help students develop their technique, strength, and artistry. We also offer private lessons and group classes to accommodate different learning styles.

Performances

CMC offers a variety of performance opportunities for our dancers. We have an annual recital in the spring and a winter showcase in December. We also offer our students the opportunity to perform at various community events throughout the year.

Competitions

CMC also offers competitive dance teams for our more advanced dancers. Our competitive teams compete at regional and national competitions throughout the year.

The Creative Movement Company is open Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
