The Country Academy of Dance from Mahopac is a dance school located in Mahopac, New York. It offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. The school has been in operation since 1997 and is dedicated to providing quality instruction in a variety of dance styles, including ballroom, Latin, social, contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz.

The Instructors

The Country Academy of Dance is led by Linda Ducid, a former professional dancer and choreographer who has been teaching dance for over 25 years. Linda is a certified instructor in many styles of dance, including ballroom, Latin, social, contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz. She is also a member of the National Dance Council of America and is a certified adjudicator for the National DanceSport Council.

The school’s other instructors are all highly experienced and trained in their respective styles. These instructors are committed to providing the highest quality instruction in a fun and supportive environment.

Classes Offered

The Country Academy of Dance offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels. These classes include:

• Ballroom: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, and Cha Cha
• Latin: Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Samba, Cha Cha, and Rumba
• Social: Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata
• Contemporary: Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap
• Competition: Standard and Latin

The school also offers private lessons, group classes, and workshops.

The Country Academy of Dance is open Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
