History

The Citrus Academy of Dance and Arts was founded in 2018 by professional dancer and choreographer, Michelle Alvarado. After years of teaching dance classes in various studios throughout the US, Michelle decided to open her own dance school in Inverness, Florida. The school has since grown and now offers classes for all ages and skill levels, as well as a dance company and hip hop classes.

The mission of the Citrus Academy of Dance and Arts is to provide quality dance instruction in a safe and nurturing environment. The school strives to foster creativity and self-expression in each of its students, while helping them to reach their highest potential.
