The Cheryl McCormack Academy of Dance has been teaching dance to students in the New Bedford area since 1965. Founded by Cheryl McCormack, the Academy has been providing quality dance instruction to all ages and levels of experience. The Academy offers a wide variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and ballroom.

History

Cheryl McCormack opened the Academy in 1965 with the goal of providing quality dance instruction to the community. She had a passion for teaching and believed in the power of dance to bring joy and self-confidence to her students.

The Academy has grown over the years and now offers classes for all ages and levels of experience. The Academy also hosts several annual performances and competitions which showcase the talent of the students.

Mission

The mission of the Cheryl McCormack Academy of Dance is to provide quality dance instruction in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to create a space where students can explore their creativity and express themselves through dance. We believe that dance is a powerful form of expression and can bring joy and self-confidence to our students.

Classes

The Academy offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels of experience. We have classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. We also offer classes for children and adults.

We also offer private lessons and group classes. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in teaching dance.
