History

Chattanooga Ballet was founded in 1984 by a group of local dancers and teachers. The school has been providing quality instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and other dance styles for over 35 years. The school has produced numerous professional dancers, including some who have gone on to perform with the American Ballet Theatre, the New York City Ballet, and the Royal Ballet.

Mission

Chattanooga Ballet’s mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students of all ages and levels of experience. The school is committed to helping students develop their skills and reach their fullest potential as dancers.

Programs

Chattanooga Ballet offers a variety of dance classes for children, teens, and adults. Classes are available in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and other dance styles. Private lessons and group classes are available.

The school also offers a variety of performance opportunities, including the annual Spring Showcase, which features student performances of classical and contemporary works.
