Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop: A Dance School in State College

Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop (CPDW) is a non-profit organization and performing arts group based in State College, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1996, CPDW is dedicated to providing quality instruction in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary. CPDW also offers a variety of performances and events throughout the year.

A Commitment to Quality Instruction

At CPDW, we believe that dance is a powerful form of expression and an important part of a well-rounded education. Our instructors are highly trained professionals who are passionate about their art and committed to providing the highest quality instruction to our students. Our classes are tailored to meet the needs of each individual student, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment in which our students can explore their creativity and reach their full potential.

A Variety of Dance Styles and Classes

At CPDW, we offer a wide variety of dance styles and classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary, as well as special classes for young children and adult beginners. We also offer a variety of performance opportunities, including our annual recital and our summer dance camp.

Community Outreach and Events

At CPDW, we believe in giving back to our community and making dance accessible to everyone. We regularly host free performances and events throughout the year, including our popular “Dance in the Park” series, which brings free dance performances to local parks. We also offer financial assistance for students who demonstrate financial need.
