The Central New York Academy of Dance (CNYAD) is a premier dance school located in Rome, New York. Founded in 2002, CNYAD offers a wide range of classes for both children and adults of all skill levels. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn the art of dance.

Classes Offered

CNYAD offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes range from ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, and ballroom dance. We also offer classes in ballroom dancing, Latin, and Argentine tango. All of our classes are taught by experienced and certified instructors who are passionate about sharing their love of dance with our students.

Facilities

The CNYAD facilities include a spacious dance studio, complete with a professional sprung dance floor, mirrors, and sound system. Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including ballet barres, a piano, and a variety of props and costumes. We also have a comfortable waiting area for parents and guardians.

Performance Opportunities

At CNYAD, we believe in providing our students with the opportunity to perform. We offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual spring recital and summer performance showcase. We also host special events and competitions throughout the year, such as our holiday show and the Rome Dance Festival.
