The Central Indiana Academy of Dance (CIAO) is a dance school located in Carmel, Indiana, USA. CIAO was founded in 2002 by professional dancer and instructor, Heather Hurd. Heather has been teaching dance for over 20 years and has a long history of success. She has choreographed for many professional dance companies, including the Indianapolis Ballet Theatre and the Cincinnati Ballet. Her goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow as dancers.

Facilities

CIAO is located in a modern, state-of-the-art facility. The school has three large studios, each equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems. The studios are air conditioned and heated for comfort and safety. The school also has a large lobby area with seating and a snack bar.

Classes and Programs

CIAO offers classes for all ages and abilities. The school offers ballet classes for children ages 3-18. Ballet classes include beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The school also offers jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and more. Private and group lessons are available for all levels.

CIAO also offers performance opportunities for its students. The school hosts an annual recital, as well as performances at local events and competitions.
