Central Illinois Ballet (CIB) is a professional dance company based in Peoria, Illinois. Founded in 1995, CIB is dedicated to the development and promotion of classical and contemporary ballet, as well as other forms of dance. History

Central Illinois Ballet was founded in 1995 by Artistic Director, Mary Beth Marrs. The company was created to provide a professional outlet for dancers in the Peoria area and to bring quality classical and contemporary ballet to the Central Illinois region.

CIB has grown over the years and now offers a wide range of performances, classes, and workshops. The company has performed in numerous venues throughout Illinois, including the Peoria Civic Center, the Peoria Riverfront Museum, and the Illinois State Fair.
