History

The Ashamu Dance Studio was founded by two former Brown University dancers, Jeremy and Tanya, in 2009. The two had been dancing together since their freshman year at Brown and had always dreamed of opening their own dance studio. After graduating, they decided to make their dreams a reality and opened the studio in Providence.

Since its founding, the studio has grown to become one of the premier dance schools in the area. It is well-known for its quality instruction and its commitment to providing a fun and welcoming environment for students of all ages and abilities.

Classes

The Ashamu Dance Studio offers a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. From beginner to advanced, the studio has something for everyone. Classes include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, modern, and more.

The Ashamu Dance Studio is open Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. The studio also offers classes on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
