Bees Knees Burlesque Academy is a dance school located in Cortland, New York. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for students to learn and explore the art of burlesque dancing. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and specialize in teaching a variety of styles, including classic burlesque, jazz, tap, and more.

History

Bees Knees Burlesque Academy was founded in 2019 by a team of experienced professional dancers, choreographers, and instructors. Our goal is to provide a supportive and inspiring learning environment for our students, and to help them develop their skills in the art of burlesque dancing. We believe that burlesque is an art form that can be enjoyed by everyone, and we strive to make our classes accessible and enjoyable for all.

Classes

At Bees Knees Burlesque Academy, we offer a variety of classes for all levels of experience. Our beginner classes are designed to help students learn the basics of burlesque dancing, while our advanced classes focus on technique and performance. We also offer specialty classes such as jazz, tap, and cabaret. All of our classes are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about burlesque and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

Events

In addition to our classes, Bees Knees Burlesque Academy also hosts a variety of events. We offer workshops and performances throughout the year, as well as special events such as our annual Burlesque Spectacular. Our events are open to the public and are a great way to experience the art of burlesque in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Bees Knees Burlesque Academy is located in the Cortland Corset Building on the 3rd floor, at 75 E Court St, Cortland, NY 13045. We are open Monday-Thursday from 5:30-9 PM, and on Sunday from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM.
