I first encountered the Anne Hebard School when attending a recital to see the daughter of a friend perform. I expected to nap through a standard parade of disjointed performances, but instead found that the recital had been choreographed in two thematically connected acts to create a performance I relished from beginning to end. Now, in my mid-fifties, I am a dance student for the first time. I can't think of a more welcoming environment in which to study.

After a long time away from dance, I have been taking the adult ballet classes for over a year now and have remained consistently impressed. Melissa is a gifted teacher who gives pointed (excuse the pun) guidance and feedback while keeping her students' spirits and interest alive throughout. She is a gem of a dance instructor in this small city and we are lucky to have her.

My daughter has been studying at the Anne Hebard School Of Ballet for a number of years. She has had only positive experiences and has developed a true love of the art form due to the wonderful people at the school, but mostly due to the teachings of Melissa B. (The owner) I highly recommend this program to all and will happily bring my daughter back for years to come.

My seven year old child has been at Anne Hebard School of Ballet for two years and has grown so much as a dancer in that time. Ms. Bierstock is a phenomenal teacher, dancer and choreographer who is dedicated to her students' learning. Their annual Nutcracker performance is exceptional, and weekly classes are a joy for my child. Highly recommend!
