My daughter has been dancing at ACDT for 7 years including summer camps and dance intensives. The owners, Susan and Giles are wonderful, creative, and caring. The non-competitive environment has allowed my daughter to blossom as a dancer/performer. The teachers are experienced, hard-working and encouraging. Every performance is brilliantly staged and choreographed; the hand-made costumes are like something out of a museum. We love ACDT/New Studio of Dance. They feel like family!

Can't recommend the New Studio of Dance enough. These aren't just dance classes, the kids experience putting on full original dance productions. Teaching a contemporary style of dance, the school provides a unique outlet of self-expression especially wonderful for kids who march to their own drummers. I wish my dance classes as a kid were as fun, silly, and expressive as these, while still providing discipline and exposing kids to the rigor of performance art.

Love this dance studio! When my 11 year old daughter came to me and said she would like to begin taking beginner ballet lessons, this is the only studio that even bothered to call me back. Not only did they call me back but their positive encouragement of her following her dreams and ambitions (no matter how late a start) have been inspiring for both of us. They have worked hands on with her and every other student in her class get individualized attention.

Love this place! I would recommend this studio to any one who is interested in dace ( especially modern). They do a great job of working with each student individually and including everyone in dance class and performances! All of the teachers are so kind and welcoming to everyone. This place is like my second home, would totally recommend it!
