Asheville Contemporary Dance (ACD) is a dance school located in Asheville, North Carolina. It was founded in 2006 as a way to provide local and regional dancers with an opportunity to learn and practice a variety of dance styles. ACD is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for dancers of all levels and backgrounds to explore and express themselves through the art of dance.

History

Asheville Contemporary Dance was founded in 2006 with the goal of providing a safe and supportive environment for dancers of all levels and backgrounds to explore and express themselves through the art of dance. ACD has grown from its humble beginnings to become one of the premier dance schools in the region. ACD offers a wide range of classes and workshops in a variety of dance styles, including contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and more.

Mission

At Asheville Contemporary Dance, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for dancers of all levels and backgrounds to explore and express themselves through the art of dance. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where dancers of all ages and abilities can learn and practice a variety of dance styles. Our instructors are experienced professionals who are passionate about teaching and inspiring their students.

Programs and Classes

At Asheville Contemporary Dance, we offer a variety of classes and workshops in a variety of dance styles. Our classes are designed to introduce new dancers to the basics of each style, while also challenging experienced dancers to expand their knowledge and refine their technique. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

We also offer a variety of workshops and special events throughout the year. Our workshops are designed to provide dancers with the opportunity to explore different styles and techniques, while our special events are a great way to celebrate the joy of dancing with friends and family.

In addition to our instructors, our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our students. Our staff is always available to answer any questions and provide assistance with registration, scheduling, and more.
