Arts In Motion Dance Academy is a full-service dance school located in Richmond, Virginia. We offer a wide variety of classes for all ages and levels in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, and other dance styles. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for our students to explore their passion for dance and to develop their skills and abilities to the highest level.

Our History

Arts In Motion Dance Academy was founded in 2008 by a group of professional dancers and instructors with a passion for the art of dance. Our instructors have years of experience in teaching, performing, and choreographing in a variety of dance styles. We are proud to have been a part of the Richmond dance community for over a decade, and we strive to provide the highest quality of instruction and performance to our students.

Our Programs

At Arts In Motion Dance Academy, we offer a variety of programs for all ages and levels. We have classes for children as young as three years old, as well as classes for adults. We also offer classes for those with special needs and disabilities. Our classes range from beginner to advanced levels, and we offer private lessons for those who want to focus on specific skills.

Our instructors are highly experienced and trained professionals who are dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential. Our instructors have years of experience in teaching, performing, and choreographing in a variety of dance styles. Our Facilities

At Arts In Motion Dance Academy, we have two state-of-the-art facilities located in Richmond, Virginia. Our main facility is located at 10492 Ridgefield Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23233, and our second facility is located at 8100 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23294. Our facilities are equipped with professional-grade equipment and are designed to provide our students with the best possible learning experience.

Our Store

In addition to our classes and programs, we also offer a full-service dance store. Our store carries a wide selection of dancewear and accessories for all of our classes and programs. We also offer custom orders and special orders for those who need something specific.

Our Performance Company

At Arts In Motion Dance Academy, we also have a performance company that performs throughout the year. Our performance company is made up of our most advanced students and is dedicated to showcasing the art of dance. Our performance company has performed at various events and venues throughout the Richmond area and beyond.
