About Art of the Dance World Academy

Art of the Dance World Academy is a premier dance school located in Great Neck, New York. Founded in 2009, the school has become a leader in providing quality dance education to students of all ages and abilities. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where students can learn, explore, and express themselves through the art of dance.

Our school offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and skill levels, including ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary. We also offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students, including competitions, festivals, and showcases. Our faculty is comprised of experienced and dedicated dance professionals who are committed to helping our students reach their full potential.

Our Dance Classes

At Art of the Dance World Academy, we offer a variety of dance classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also providing our students with a strong foundation in dance technique. Our classes include:

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to provide our students with a strong foundation in classical ballet technique. We focus on developing proper posture, alignment, and strength, as well as developing an understanding of ballet terminology and history. Our classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Hip Hop

Our hip hop classes are designed to provide our students with a solid foundation in street dance technique. We focus on developing rhythm, coordination, and musicality, as well as developing an understanding of hip hop culture and history. Our classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are designed to provide our students with a strong foundation in jazz technique. We focus on developing proper technique, alignment, and strength, as well as developing an understanding of jazz terminology and history. Our classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Tap

Our tap classes are designed to provide our students with a strong foundation in tap technique. We focus on developing rhythm, coordination, and musicality, as well as developing an understanding of tap terminology and history. Our classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Modern

Our modern classes are designed to provide our students with a strong foundation in modern dance technique. We focus on developing proper technique, alignment, and strength, as well as developing an understanding of modern terminology and history. Our classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Contemporary

Our contemporary classes are designed to provide our students with a strong foundation in contemporary dance technique. We focus on developing proper technique, alignment, and strength, as well as developing an understanding of contemporary terminology and history. Our classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Performance Opportunities

At Art of the Dance World Academy, we strive to provide our students with a variety of performance opportunities. Our students have the opportunity to participate in competitions, festivals, and showcases. We also offer our students the opportunity to participate in community outreach programs, such as school assemblies and community events.
