History

Archana Joglekar has been a passionate student and teacher of Kathak for over 30 years. She has trained in the traditional Kathak style of Jaipur Gharana, under the tutelage of Guru Vyjayanthimala Bali and Guru Rajendra Gangani. She has performed in India and abroad, and has won numerous awards for her performances.

In 2017, Archana Joglekar established Archana Arts in Somerset, New Jersey. The school offers classes in Kathak for all levels, from beginner to advanced. The school also offers workshops and seminars to promote the art form and to introduce it to a wider audience.
