The American Youth Dance Theater (AYDT) is a vibrant, professional dance school located in New York City. Founded in 2003, AYDT is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance instruction for children and adults of all ages and levels. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students to explore their creativity and develop their technical skills.

Our Philosophy

At AYDT, we believe that dance is an art form that has the power to transform lives. We strive to provide an environment that encourages creative expression and develops physical and mental well-being. Our goal is to foster an appreciation of the performing arts and to create a supportive and inspiring atmosphere for our students.

Our Programs

At AYDT, we offer a variety of dance classes for children and adults of all ages and levels. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and other styles of dance. We also offer private lessons and special workshops for those who wish to further their dance education.

For children, we offer a wide range of classes, including our popular Ballet for Beginners program. This program is designed to introduce children to the basics of ballet technique and help them develop a love for dance. We also offer a variety of children’s parties and special events that are tailored to the interests of each group.

For adults, we offer classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary. Our classes are designed to help adults develop their technique and explore their creativity. We also offer private lessons and special workshops for those who wish to further their dance education.

At AYDT, we are proud to have a staff of experienced and passionate professionals. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective fields. Our Facilities

AYDT is located in the heart of New York City. Our studio is equipped with a full-sized sprung dance floor, ballet barres, and mirrors. We also have a spacious lobby area for our students and parents to relax and enjoy refreshments.
