The American Theatre is a great location for a public event! This Art Deco gem offers a warm, inviting place for an array of events. The staff with Patrick Properties Hospitality Group worked closely with us – the Charleston Climate Coalition – for a flawless event. PPHG had tech support lined up, as well as security and hosting staff. I highly recommend using this venue and look forward to a continued relationship with PPHG!
My husband and I really enjoyed the short stories, they were paired with a cocktail to enhance the experience. The story tellers were into their roles as they told the stories and life of Poe. The venue was clean, however, it was extremely warm in the room, seating was close which made it a little uncomfortable, we didn't let that hamper our evening. We had a great date night.
We had our company holiday party at the American Theater and it was everything we hoped it would be! Everyone we worked with was amazing! Very responsive and helpful. The venue was perfect for the occasion and the service was just outstanding. We will definitely be back for more events in the future. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Nice to see of you're a fan of, The Notebook." Helps give you a perspective of the street and filming.. Looks timeless. Currently used for events today. Parking can be a bit tough but if you circle around the block off the main street, you can get a good, clear view. There are local shops on this road as well.
