I have known this instructor for 18 years, top notch with any level student. Has been in the industry in Houston longer than any instructor in town. He works with adults and kids and has an excellent staff. Many levels of classes are offered at flexible schedules, plus many different training teams. My two daughters are currently part of Teen Amaya and they could not be happier or more challenged. Additionally, he holds the top Salsa Social in Texas, every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

I am so grateful to have been a part of a dance studio that takes the art of latin dance so seriously and Salomon Amaya teaches with so much passion and with a strong intent to grow his students. Everyone from the instructors to the students both new and veterans have been so welcoming and they have made my experience to learn Salsa an inspiring one. I've learned so much and hope to continue to improve my dance skills alongside my new dance family.

One of the best dance dance studios in Houston Texas and their biweekly Sunday night socials are by far the best salsa dance social in the south. Fantastic dj's, great dancers, fast dance floor, guest dance instructors from all over the United States. If there is 1 social you want to attend while you are in Houston you definitely don't want to miss this. Reminds me of the Jimmy Anton socials in NY

I have loved my time so far with Amaya Dance. The classes are challenging, and its a fun and friendly environment. After moving from another city and trying to decide where I wanted to dance, I chose Amaya Dance because I love Sal's music choices and choreography! I also love the discipline and passion for dance that is taught here. The dance socials are the bomb as well!
