History

Alto School of Dance was founded in 2019 by Lola Moore, a professional dancer and choreographer. Lola has been teaching dance for over 10 years and has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience with her students.

Lola started the school with the goal of providing quality instruction and creating a safe and encouraging environment for her students. She also wanted to promote the growth of the dance community in Morgan City and the surrounding areas.

Classes

Alto School of Dance offers classes for all levels and ages. The school specializes in Latin and Ballroom dance styles, including Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, and Swing.

The school also offers private lessons and group classes. Private lessons are great for those who want to learn at their own pace and focus on specific techniques. Group classes are great for those who want to learn in a fun and social environment.

Facilities

Alto School of Dance is located in the heart of Morgan City. The school has two spacious studios with sprung wooden floors, mirrors, and a sound system. The school also has a lounge area with comfortable seating and a TV for watching dance videos.

Staff

Alto School of Dance is staffed by a team of experienced and passionate instructors. Lola Moore is the head instructor and choreographer. She is joined by a team of experienced dancers and teachers who specialize in different styles of Latin and Ballroom dance.

Alto School of Dance is open Monday through Thursday from 5-8:30 PM. The school is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
