Kona Dance and Performing Arts was founded in 2006 by owner and director, Kona H. Kealoha. With a background in both dance and teaching, Kona wanted to create a place where people of all ages and abilities could come together to learn and practice dance in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. The school has since grown to become one of the most popular dance schools in the area, and is known for its excellent instruction and welcoming atmosphere.

Classes

Kona Dance and Performing Arts offers classes for all levels of dancers, from beginner to advanced. The school offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and ballroom. Each class is designed to help students learn the fundamentals of the style of dance they are learning, as well as to help them develop their own unique style. The school also offers classes in performance, choreography, and improvisation.
