About Greater Hartford Dance Academy

The Greater Hartford Dance Academy (GHDA) is a dance school located in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Founded in 2010, GHDA has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities in the Greater Hartford area. We offer a variety of classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer gymnastics classes for children and adults.

At GHDA, we strive to provide a safe and positive learning environment for all of our students. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective disciplines. We believe in creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere in which our students can reach their highest potential.

We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and levels. Our classes are designed to help our students build strength, flexibility, and technique. We also offer private lessons, workshops, and performance opportunities.

Our goal is to help our students develop a lifelong appreciation for the art of dance. We believe that dance is a powerful tool for self-expression, creativity, and physical and mental well-being.

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. We offer classes in both traditional and contemporary ballet. Our instructors are experienced and highly trained in the art of ballet.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of jazz dance. We offer classes in both traditional and contemporary jazz. Our instructors are experienced and highly trained in the art of jazz.

Tap

Our tap classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of tap dance. We offer classes in both traditional and contemporary tap. Our instructors are experienced and highly trained in the art of tap.

Hip-Hop

Our hip-hop classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of hip-hop dance. We offer classes in both traditional and contemporary hip-hop. Our instructors are experienced and highly trained in the art of hip-hop.

Contemporary

Our contemporary classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of contemporary dance. We offer classes in both traditional and contemporary contemporary. Our instructors are experienced and highly trained in the art of contemporary.

Gymnastics

Our gymnastics classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics. We offer classes in both traditional and contemporary gymnastics. Our instructors are experienced and highly trained in the art of gymnastics.

Facilities & Services

At GHDA, we strive to provide a safe and positive learning environment for all of our students. We have a fully equipped facility with sprung floors, mirrors, and ballet barres. We also offer a variety of services, such as private lessons, workshops, and performance opportunities.
