MusicWorks! Studio of Performing Arts from Clyde is a premier dance school, education center, dance store, music school, and theater production company located in Clyde, North Carolina. Our mission is to provide high-quality, professional instruction in dance, music, and theater for all ages and abilities. We offer private and group lessons in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, contemporary, and more. We also offer workshops and classes in music theory, composition, and songwriting. Our dance store offers a wide selection of dancewear, shoes, and accessories. Our theater production company produces a variety of shows, from children’s musicals to full-scale Broadway-style productions.

Our History

MusicWorks! Studio of Performing Arts from Clyde was founded in 2006 by professional dancer and choreographer, Mark Johnson. Mark has been teaching dance for over twenty years and has worked with many of the top dancers and choreographers in the industry. He has created award-winning works for theater, television, and film. MusicWorks! has grown to become one of the most respected dance schools in the area, offering a wide range of classes and services.

Our Facilities

MusicWorks! Studio of Performing Arts from Clyde is housed in a state-of-the-art facility. Our dance studio features a professional sprung floor, high-end sound system, and full-length mirrors. Our theater production company has its own stage, lighting, and sound system. Our music school features a variety of instruments, including pianos, guitars, drums, and more. We also have a dance store, offering a wide selection of dancewear, shoes, and accessories.
