Hālau Hula Pono is a dance school located in Newcastle, California. We specialize in teaching traditional Polynesian dance, as well as modern and contemporary styles. Our school has been in operation since 2006 and we have trained hundreds of dancers in the art of hula. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our students.

At Hālau Hula Pono, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting the culture of the Hawaiian Islands. We believe that hula is an important part of Hawaiian culture and we strive to provide our students with an authentic and meaningful experience. We also offer classes in other Polynesian dance styles, such as Tahitian and Samoan.

Classes & Events

At Hālau Hula Pono, we offer a variety of classes for all skill levels. Our classes include beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes in both traditional and modern hula. We also offer classes in other Polynesian dance styles, such as Tahitian and Samoan. Performances
